Church Garden

The award winning gardens around the Church are cared for by Penny Pocock and a team of volunteers. If you want to help please contact the Parish Office.

6th October from 10am-4pm. Penny would be most grateful for any help setting up the day before and/or help with selling on the day. Penny is also short of volunteer gardeners at present, if you can help Penny with any of the above please give her a call.

Chelsea Old Church awarded for it's gardens

Penny Pocock on the Brighter Kensington & Chelsea Scheme Platinum Jubilee

On Monday 6th November 2023 the Brighter Kensington &Chelsea Scheme held their Prize Giving in Kensington Town Hall. It was a happy celebration not least for our beloved Chelsea Old Church Garden. We won the huge silver bowl for the ‘Best Church Garden’, the new Trophy for ‘Brightening Up Chelsea’ and a ‘Certificate of Excellence’ from the London Gardens Society. The Brighter Kensington & Chelsea Scheme also won the Wakefield Trophy for the best gardens in the whole of London. 

Congratulations to Penny Pocock and Rob Alcock for receiving  the Mayor’s Award 2022.

Brighter Kensington and Chelsea Scheme Competition 2022

Chelsea Old Church has won the cup for Category 6 – “Place of Worship, Nursing Home, Hospital”.
